Sara Rydell is new to JobAgent's board here together with the founders Mats Wernheim and Björn Elowson

On her 18th birthday on October 4, Sara Rydell will break the famous glass roof by stepping in as a board member of HR-Techbolaget JobAgent ® on the same day - and thus become Sweden's youngest person to take a seat on a company board . As a young woman, she makes a historical impression of a positive gender distribution, something many company boards are fighting hard for.

JobAgent’s founder, Mats Wernheim , has long dreamed of getting young people on company boards and believes that this is more important now than ever before. According to Mats, who has been an entrepreneur and entrepreneur since the age of 16, the rulers of society have gone from being middle-aged people to becoming young adults at the beginning of their careers and at the beginning of their adult lives.

“Generation Z is the generation that will set the agenda for the future – the young will do today, the rest will do tomorrow. despite being a board member myself, Generation Z is the first to understand the new, which is one of the most important success factors for companies today. We are extremely happy to bring in Sara with her new thinking and different perspective. < "She will be a vital cog in the wheel in JobAgent's journey forward. Of course we also have a lot left to do, but this is an important big first step" says Mats.

Sara herself became interested in entrepreneurship at an early age and the fascination was born when she realized the strength of combining people’s different skills and thus creating a unique whole. This led to her appearing in IVA’s program Junior Academy (Junior Academy run by the New York Academy of Sciences and IVA’s participation is possible thanks to the main sponsor Stiftelsen Marcus and Amalia Wallenbergs Minnesfond) and then completely independently put together a team of young people from different parts of the world to solve major global problems with them. Sara’s team won IVA’s competition and the start of her success story thus accelerated enormously with interviews in both Nyhetsmorgon i TV4 and P4 Radio Stockholm.

Generation Z is the generation that will set the agenda for the future.

Mats Wernheim, founder of JobAgent

JobAgent won the race for IVA's acclaimed youth talents. Sara Rydell and her international team from Junior Academy won the Young Innovation in Crisis award by IVA, Royal. The Academy of Engineering Sciences.

The big breakthrough, however, came in August when she, together with her team members, was recruited to the JobAgents Advisory Board, which was noticed in Breakit and now on Sunday she steps into the company’s board as Sweden’s youngest member.

“It feels very fun and I am glad that the team behind JobAgent sees how we young people can contribute with a different perspective that they themselves do not have. It will be an exciting autumn and I am proud to be the youngest board member in Sweden – my 18th birthday will actually be historic! ” says Sara.

There is no doubt that Sara has many successful women to look up to. Today’s industry listed, for example, Näringslivets 125 most powerful women in the spring, where the majority of women started their careers at an early age. One of the women, Cristina Stenbeck, has today resigned from the board position at Kinnevik and is instead actively working to support the next generation of entrepreneurs, an initiative that Mats Wernheim hopes to see more of in the future. Regarding Sara’s future, Mats believes that this is only the start of her success and that Sara will soon top the lists himself.

“I am so incredibly happy to have Sara on the board, she contributes with insights and questions that I have never received from the other members. Of course, I also look forward to following her continued journey after this, I do not doubt for a second that she will have a strong position in an innovative company the same day she stands with the student hat in hand! ” concludes Mats.
